Finnish-Swedish-Finnish translation services

We offer translations from Finnish to Swedish and from Swedish to Finnish.

We will also edit a translation after completion, on request. This may be necessary where the translation is aimed at a wider readership - as in the case of manuals or press releases, for example. We will edit the translation so that it reads as smoothly as possible without changing the content.

Swedish

With some 9.3 million native speakers, Swedish is spoken in Sweden, the Åland islands and Finland, where it has official status. It is a member of the North Germanic branch of the Indo-European family and has a large number of regional varieties. A characteristic feature of the language is its prosody, which gives it a melodic quality. It is written in a variant of the Latin alphabet with 29 letters including å, ä and ö, and is an official EU language.
