Romanian-English-Romanian translation services

We offer translations from Romanian to English and vice versa.

We will also edit a translation after completion, on request. This may be necessary where the translation is aimed at a wider readership - as in the case of manuals or press releases, for example. We will edit the translation so that it reads as smoothly as possible without changing the content.

File formats of translations

Translations can be delivered in almost any file format, whether they are for web pages, flash banners or high-quality print materials. Past experience has shown that this is around 2-3 times cheaper than having the layout done by a separate advertising agency or graphic designer. We have the latest versions of all major graphics software in the industry and always purchase more whenever needed.

Romanian

A Romance language, Romanian has also been influenced by a diverse range of other languages during the course of its history, including Slavonic and even Turkish, though it made a large number of borrowings from French and Italian during the 19th century. Around 24 million people speak it as a first language, and a further 4 million have it as a second language. It is the official language of Romania and also has official status in Vojvodina (Serbia). Varieties including Aromanian and Megleno-Romanian are also spoken in other parts of eastern Europe. It is written in a variant of the Latin alphabet which includes the additional letters a, â, î, s and t. The official language of the Republic of Moldova, Moldovan, is essentially identical to Romanian. Romanian became an official language of the EU in 2007.
